12.10.2018 – PLEASE NOTE: STARTING FEES SAMORIN
Dear Members, Mushers,
Please note that our national members have to collect the starting fees for the WSA Dryland Championship from their competitors and are responsible for the payment of the starting fees to the WSA.
@Mushers: Please do not pay your starting fees directly to the WSA. Your club will be in touch to collect the starting fees. We will contact any mushers who have paid their starting fees directly about next steps.

The town of Šamorín, part Čilistov, is about 20 km far from Bratislava. Start / finish and stake-out areas are located near the X-Bionic® Spehere multi-purpose complex (gate 10) and close to the Gabčíkovo waterworks

Trail: 5,2 km
The trail leads near drainage channel through small woods and meadows. The entire length of the track is covered with clay and grass. At two places, the trail crosses the concrete pavement (about 2m). Trail profile is flat, without significant climb or descent.
The race schedule will be continuously refined. We will inform you of its final form.
Accommodation: Competitors take care of themselves
Close to the start is the X-Bionic Sphere resort or the hotel Kormoran (but both are slightly higher cat.), In the city, for example, Hotel Samaria, the accommodation can also be found in the surrounding villages, or Bratislava is also not that far.

For traveling from the Member States of the European Union to Slovakia, the following requirements must be met:
accompanying owner or authorized person may be up to 5 animals.
The maximum number of companion animals (dogs, cats and ferrets) may exceed 5, subject to the following conditions:

The third countries or territories on the list are those listed in Part 1 and Part 2 of Annex II to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No. 577/2013, pursuant to Article 13, part 1 and 2 Regulation (EU) of the European Parliament and of the Council 576/2013.
